Here's the story:

For every LP release we receive between 5 to 20 test press LP's.
These are to check if everything sounds as it should, the tracks are in the right order etc.

We have an agreement with the factory to receive these as coloured vinyls: in different colours than the final, actual pressing. These LP's also have New Era Productions test press labels.

Most copies are given to the artists and friends, so to make them a little special we include custom made sleeves. Often with somewhat different artwork. Most include the inlays, flyers, posters etc that are part of this release.

As we have a few of each left we finally decided to sell some in order to gain funds for upcoming releases.

So yes, they are more expensive: this is because a lot of work went into them and they are extremely limited.
